E-Invest management team

E-Invest Limited’s founding team consists of experienced professionals who have been active in the clean-technology and energy sectors for over a decade and who have been responsible for the development and implementation of over 30 AD facilities with a combined output in excess of 15MW.

The biographies of the E-Invest management team are as follows:

Wim Vrieling – Chief Executive
Wim is a co-founder and CEO of E-Invest Limited. He has a BSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering and is a registered European Engineer (Eur-Ing) with extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering, having worked across the globe for more than 26 years with Shell plc. As a project manager for Shell, Wim was responsible for multiple maintenance, construction and design projects and programs. Wim also set-up and implemented soil remediation and management projects for Shell in the Netherlands in the 1990s. As a member of a land value creation team for Shell, he developed and implemented a business plan for environmental remediation and value creation from legacy sites.
Wim was responsible for project managing the development and implementation of effective clean-up methods for environmental remediation and oil spill clean-up in Nigeria for Shell International from 1999-2003. Whilst solving the environmental problems, the project provided major job opportunities to local communities in the whole Niger Delta. During the following three years Wim was manager of the construction of infrastructure in the West Siberian Salym oilfield in Russia and in 2007, Wim took charge of a start up team and company in Yunnan, South China, planting up to 266,000 hectares of forest and bio-energy crops.

Andrew Collins – Commercial Manager
Andrew is a director and partner of Miro Holdings International a private venture capital investment boutique focused on clean energy and agro-forestry. Andrew previously worked in corporate finance at Panmure Gordon & Co where he worked on numerous equity fundraising and mergers & acquisitions. These include flotations on the London Stock Exchange, secondary equity issues, private placings, takeovers, balance sheet restructuring as well as private acquisitions and disposals. Andrew has also gained extensive experience preparing companies for flotation across a variety of sectors. Prior to joining Panmure, Andrew worked for Mott MacDonald, a global consultancy were he project managed the development and implementation of technical solutions and operational improvements to a broad range of businesses. Andrew holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Bristol and a Masters in Finance from the Cranfield School of Management.

Marcel Mendes da Costa – Operations Manager
Marcel has experience developing hydro, geothermal and wind projects across Central and Eastern Europe on behalf of the Iceland Energy Group. Prior to this he worked for six years with C-Fix B.V. as the company’s business development manager. In this role he was responsible for supply chain management, project tendering, new business development, business planning, strategy and financial analysis. Marcel has previously worked in strategic and operational roles for company’s including B&A Group, PA Consulting, CEGESTI (Costa Rica), and Unilever. Marcel has an MSc in Industrial Design & Engineering from Delft University of Technology.

Theo Noordstrand – Director of Oosterhof-Holman Milieutechniek B.V.
Theo has a BSc in Civil Engineering and Management and over 20 years experience in the management of civil and environmental construction contractor companies. He is presently director of Oosterhof-Holman Milieutechniek B.V. (“OHM”), a company with whom E-Invest has an agreement for the design and construction of AD facilities.
Theo has extensive experience in environmental engineering projects including soil remediation projects, biological cleanup, dredging and the treatment of sludge and industrial waste water. Over this time Theo has been responsible for the design of new technologies and techniques many of which are commonly used in the industry today. In 2004 Theo started developing and constructing renewable energy facilities - today OHM has built most of the anaerobic digesters for renewable energy production in the Netherlands. Theo also has extensive knowledge of bio-fuels and bio-ethanol to energy technologies.

Rinus Rinia – Technical Director of Oosterhof-Holman Milieutechniek B.V.
Rinus is a Technical Director of Oosterhof-Holman Milieutechniek B.V. (“OHM”) and has extensive experience of biomass and AD projects globally with particular experience in Holland and Belgium. He has over ten years experience in civil and environmental construction companies and has been responsible for developing over thirty AD and biomass projects globally over the last 6 years.
